  1.   If your modem is HAYES compatibly then you can make it answer the phone by
  2. typing "ATA"<return>. Make sure to type it in after the RING has occurred
  3. because most modems will not answer the phone while a ring is in progress.
  4.   If your modem is non-hayes, then you will have to consult your manual. It
  5. should contain some information on how to answer the phone.
  6.   Most terminals support a "Host-mode", but usually, the host mode does not
  7. work correctly with mach-10. I suggest that you do not use the terminals host
  8. mode.
  9.   If all else fails, then you can leave a comment to the sysop and he will
  10. validate you manually.
